Can someone get in trouble if they advertise an adult website in public places? For example putting a ad to join a webcam site as a model on a telephone pole near a college campus. I'm thinking about doing this to get traffic to one of my site, since I have about 50 high quality poster paper I bought a year ago and haven't used it yet.

I suggest you make sure everything you do is legal so at least you won't have any problems.
And yeah if it is a college campus i'm guessing they are 16-17 year olds..so i wouldn't if i was you as you need to be 18+ for such a thing.

I would say that you have the right to do so only if :

    - there is no offensive, shocking, sex pictures
    - that you don't go to people especially if they are minors
    - and if you specify that it is for 18+ y old only

That said, it depends on the country (in Saoudi Arabia it should be forbidden)

Moreover, last time i checked i'm not a lawer and far to be, i just used common sense, you may want to have more accurate specifics
