First of all I love BHW. There are so many creative people here, amazing ideas floating around. And I do know that blackhat seo may be unethical or against some people morals but its not illegal. But the section called "downloads" where people share software don't that make it illegal.

Just enjoy what's available, and if in case you have your own product, you can approach mods to take it in DNS list, and I think there are some requirements before you can add your product on the DNS list.

It is, but they're mainly protected with a loophole in the law. Since users are providing links to the copyrighted material, all they have to do is respond to DMCA request and most won't pursue it further than that.

My biggest concern would be Mods sharing the links because I think they're paid (could be wrong). They could just create fake accounts to share with though and solve that problem.

Other than that, there's a reason the prohibit the sharing of products from companies like Adobe. They're the ones with the legal teams and deep pockets to be able to pursue them for damages.

The rules clearly state you are not allowed to share anything that you do not have the legal rights to.

Now staff can not check every link shared that is hosted on another website.

they can comply when told they have a link to copyright material
