If I were to send a fake drivers license/passport bought off secondeye to verify a paypal or ebay account is that illegal?

Also, paypal has limited my account for sending and wants me to send in my passport, is it ok to photoshop it to make it appear I am 1 year older as I am only 17 right now. Thank you BHW!

Certainly illegal and at the highest levels, also I believe you have the wrong forum.

Laws vary from country to country, but in pretty much every jurisdiction i know of, sending forged documents is criminal act.
That being said, with the number of documents paypal is receiving daily, there's very slim chance that you'll get caught, unless you trigger the investigation in different way ( selling carded electronics etc. ).

If Paypal sends money to some fake ID, they're liable for it too. So they'll comb this really carefully.

Banks are required to tell the cops if they get some suspicious activity, so if Paypal follows through they probably have to give your info to the authorities.... I wouldn't mess with fake documents, that's not blackhat, it's just foolish.

Just wait one more year, you don't want to get sent to prison. You're not even using an alias you're using your real name, you're almost guaranteed to get caught.

As the above posters stated, NOT a good idea.
