Left my job to follow my dreams and making money online

Hello BHW,

I had joined BHW in 2015 way back when I started my college. Eager of earning money came through me when I saw why you need money in college, well I don't need to tell that. So I had registered and made some money with PPC and youtube.
The college life was pretty awesome - Money and travelling

Then comes the time when I got placed in an IT company, as I love to code so the feeling of getting placed in an IT company was different but I got stipend 8k. Then this feeling was different as I had showed my leadership skills in the company but then at the end of month I just got 8k and I didn't like the PR(Product Manager) as his main motive was to make money for the company without taking care of the employees. This made me sort of angry

and I thought "This is not my story" wasting my precious time in a company where I had to follow what they say.
To change this I need to write my OWN STORY and boom after my 6 months of training I leave my job and back to what I love to do.

I hope this is not too long but wanted to share my brief story.

Im feeling with you, its really annoying to have such a Boss. You have to go than if its not your thing to do that every day and make everything for a Person who clearly is not behind you. But at least you made some good money to pay your stuff and still have something to Start a new Business. Thats what counts.

Online world is not easy as you may see it

1) I can't understand people who leave job before they start earning money online
Maybe online marketing is not for you? what you should do then? 8K stipend is great but it's one time money and for survival you need long-term income for example, monthly income

Why you have left the job? Because Manager of company was trying to make everything in company's interest? Are you kidding?

That's his job to do his best for company!

2) I wish you all the best on your online journey but I think it's really big mistake that you have left job (passive income) for just a dream and you even don't if this dream can work or not.

Millions of people failed hard for their dreams simply because that dreams were not practical enough.

Social media and motivational type websites are showing only successful people and it seems that success is easy and there is only one option - success. NOPE! there are millions of people who tried the same as Mark to create new Facebook but failed!

First you have to start working on your dream as a side hustle, and when you see that everything is great on your side project, then you can easily leave that job!

If you need the money for investments for future projects, from where you gonna get that money? 8K is not big enough, trust me ))

Please check other categories of this forum - people are always asking what to do with 10$ or 100$ or even with 1000$ - the answer is that that money is not enough!!!! You have to find a fu#### job to make sure that your side projects (so called dream life) will not run out of investments because in online marketing first you will need to invest tons of money to get data and then you can make thousands of dollars a day

3) You mentioned that you are not going to work for a BOSS and follow what he says..
You really mean it?

I think you are living in ASTRAL! in online world, your boss is your customer and if he did not like the product or service and ask for refund or some changes in product/service, you are not going to do what he/she says?

Everyone who are first timers in IM, always say that I'm my own boss and I'm gonna create my own life - NOPE NOPE NOPE! You are not your BOSS! This is big mistake - You have the boss - people who are paying you money for services or products so you would better start doing what they ask or you will be out of real business shortly

I'm almost at the verge of quitting my job but I made something realistic. A goal to make at least 3 times my current monthly salary in a month consistently for 3 months before I start making plans to finally quit. If I can't make 3 times my salary in a month from Online Business consistently for 3 months then I will buckle up and try again.

That's true, a boss should be a leader not a "boss" boss.

First thing, I really thank you for spending some time to type this. But as I had mentioned it is just a brief. As you have spend sometime to write, I will answer to all your questions below:
1) I don't know about other people but as I have mentioned its just a brief about the 6 months. I was happy with the 8k stipend as I am a freelancer, so after my job I am focus on freelancing as well (8k+online money). But the point is, am I happy with this ? If your boss puts pressure on you and hand overs tasks which is not even related to you, it really pisses you off. So I left the job because I was earning the same amount which I get at the job.
The manager really works for the company, but he only works for the company that is a manager should be capable enough to encourage employees and motivate them, so that he/she is on the same page but instead he used to force the employees and give extra work and many other things which could go on.

2) As I have mentioned in 1st point, after my job I work at home as a freelancer. So that answer your question. Now talking about failure, I learn from my failures and dedicate myself to reach a goal which I set. Leaving my job was the best decision I made, the environment where I was working was so monotonous. I was being made to work the same thing everyday with no extra knowledge or anything. Now I can work on myself and upgrade myself to the level where I can stand for my own dreams.
Regarding the investment, I earn a few bucks through freelancing and from now on I will be focusing more on freelancing and other source of incomes.

3) Yes I really mean it, I was working for the company and my output was good as per a newbie in the company. I was handling projects on my own in the company and received appreciation from my colleagues as well. I love to help people and I did that in the company as well. But maybe my growth or maybe my because of my mouth, the boss didn't like the way I handled things. He used to point out small things which made no sense at all and this was done with all the other colleagues, everyone was having the same situation. But the difference is, I took some risk and left the job.

Regarding my future, I will work hard and set some goals. Right now, I am focusing on Instagram online business and already set an IG page with 402 followers. I will update regarding this in a new thread.

Starting with little steps and building on it is best, many guys just start lot of work @ once n get stuck.

Good luck with ur online business, just keep track of where u want to reach and work towards it.
