I have been coding for years I have ten plus years of C++ and C# under my belt along with 2 of xcode for apple products. But just recently I decided alrights whats next I guess php why not. And im in love why did I every learn any of the other languages it easy to learn easy to run and can run cross platform if your good enough. I wish I would have started with php. Plus I think I have already made more money from php script sales than any other language.

Just though I would share my love towards this new language and im still learning im sure by the time I master it Ill be drowling over it.

That's great to hear :-)
PHP really rocks in my opinion. Best of luck for your journey!

DO not forget to use resources from these two sites. They are goldmines:
Code:
php.net
phpclasses.org

I agree. I've been a PHP developer for years now and it's a good money resource. Never bothered selling scripts though. I tend to do web apps or backend admin apps for clients.
Where do you sell your scripts?

I love PHP too. Been playing with PHP for 10 years, being doing it professionally for 4 years... still so much to learn though, it never stops!

PHP is not even comparable to C++. By that I mean they are 2 different languages that serve for the most part different purposes and tasks. Development teams are not sitting around thinking gee should we use c++ or PHP to build an app.

I do agree it is nice, you should learn python next.

Love to hear this. i m working in php from last 6+year and love working in it.

Although I use PHP quite regularly I do agree with this sentiment.

Well done... nice decision you have to taken for learning PHP. As you have already an experience about programming then you can easily learn PHP within a short period of time but for that you have just understood PHP basic syntax, rules etc.
