This is strictly for noobs. I did a search and nothing showed up so i decided to create this thread.
Assuming you dont know how to direct link an affiliate offer I post here how I got to direct link my affiliate offer in Adwords.

    1. Create a new adwords account and add credits to it.
    2. Create a landing page, it should be a mini website not single page website, just a landing page with disclaimer and privacy policy and contact us or about us pages and you have a mini website
    3. You can get free hosting at 50webs and a free domain at co.cc, so lets assume its 1234.co.cc
    4. Now setup a campaign in your Adwords account and link it to your landing page, chose your keywords right and have a qs of atleast 5
    5. After sending some visitors to your landing page, create a simple redirect page and name it like keyword.html or something like that and upload it to your host.
    6. In the display url type in www.1234.co.cc and in destination url type in www.1234.co.cc/keyword.html( you can also type this in display url if its short enough to fit in) and thats it your done
Below is a simple redirect script that I used
    Code:
    <html><head><meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0; url=your aff link or hop url"></head><body></body></html>
This is my first thread here , hope you find it useful.

You cannot send traffic to a redirecting page. Your campaigns will stop working and your account will be flagged. I would never recommend this method to anyone. Read what you write first before calling people noobs.

In a thread, reading up on posts.
Hey and thanks for sharing, but are you really shure this is allowed? I've been reading up and watching different courses on IM and I think that this was mentioned as something that would get you in trouble with big G.

The reason is that when you put in the link in your ad it has to match the url of the landing page. So when you put in "www.1234.co.cc" and the guy ends up on "www.9876.com" this would be some violation of the TOS that Adwords has.

But if I'm completely wrong I stand corrected.

On another note I think you are completely right when it comes to making a mini website instead of just a landing page/single page. If you do this correct I think you will get cheaper bids on your campaign.

It is not allowed and it won't work.
Why? Simply because metarefresh is readable by bot. It can work for shot period of time and as soon as bot will visit your page, he will follow metarefresh which will point him to something else than your display URL - account banned.
To make this work you need to cloack the bot first with some good content and show redirect to real visitors (which still doesn't protect you from human editor random checks on accounts).
If you want to share something - test it first please. What you saying here was working years ago. It still work, but not like this and it's a little more complicated to set it properly.

I ran my campaign for like a week with this method during the first week of may, my account is still active, like I said earlier mine might be a one off thing that slipped through G's radar or they might have been careless with my account, I have posted here what worked for me
