    Guys,

I'm taking this online course on Computer Science on edX to enhance my programming skills (I can do some, but can't call myself a programmer yet).

It's from Harvard, it's free and I thought some of you might enjoy taking it: Introduction to Computer Science

P.s. if anyone is keen, we could even think to create a study group on Skype or have a dedicated thread.

    I have seen it already.
Seems to be a cool option, but workload is too high, i.e. "9 problems sets, 10-20 hours each"

If you are taking an introductory course to enhance your programming skills, you are taking the wrong class. You need to move beyond the 101 classes. There are many online. You can learn more from a "Dummies" book on programming than you learn useful information in a 101 class.
