Lazy Mans Guide To $20 A Day from adsense

I'm interested in seeing... if once you GET the traffic and the CTR up for your site,... if the CPC will ACTUALLY BE anything around $1.

Example: I have one site ranking #1 in the SERPs optimized for a keyword phrase with Medium Competition and a $40 CPC on the Adwords side. Yet my CPC on the Adsense side is only $0.39 cents per click. Horrible. (and this type of instance is becoming more and more common)...

Adsense has been notorious lately for diluting the CPC, even on the most well built and optimized sites.

I hope it works out! will check in periodically...

Cheers.

My cpc is usually around $.75 to $1.75 for most keywords, I agree that adwords does lie a bit which is why you need to search a bit more before deciding on a keyword.

Looking forward for the rest of the article... i'm a newbie and need your advice before starting.. making $10 a day should be okay for me though as i'm not greedy to start making much money instantly.

You can not compare quality content with article spinning. You do realize that if a human does not spell-check the content and that it actually makes sense is a world of difference for your visitors. Google currently has a hard time checking the validity of content but as algorithms and AI advances it will eventually be able to comprehend and even detect spinning practices. Writing quality and engaging content with proper pronunciation takes effort and a certain amount of skill. Most basic English is passable and one should not worry about it! If you understand where to end sentences and have software to spell-check your golden.

I have come across websites where the phrase: "the September 11th attacks" was spun. where the phrase became: "attacks eleventh the september" not only is this absolutely distasteful to allot of people it clearly shows incompetence and a general lack of caring about your content, any child with half a brain will notice.

Once your site reaches a certain earning threshold, or perhaps payout limit Google will have on of their on-line workers with a proper understanding and vocabulary of English manually check your site - if it is deemed to be crap you can be blacklisted. Good luck setting up a AdSense account in the future. Article spinning is the lazy mans way to this game and it will bite you in the ass eventually.

AdWords is not an actual representation of what your targeted keyword CPC will be. Once your site becomes more popular your RPM and CPC will increase. As an example; one of my authority sites earns € 14,79 per 1000 visitors while it gets over 600k uniques a month on average - do the math. If your site gives advertisers high lead throughput your site will increase in value and you will gain more RPM and CPC. I have personal contacts within Google due to beeping one of the higher earners within the Niche's i target. Don't forget that Google takes roughly 33% from the advertisers from the stated AdWords value. Its a misconception that people assume the AdWords value of a keyword is what you the publisher should be paid. I have certain keywords that pay less then € 0,10 according to AdWords and on my site it has a value of somewhere around € 6 simply because of highly targeted and engaging content as well as specific related content targeting much more higher paid keywords.

Some advertisers are horrible with setting up AdWords campaigns so once in a while check your ads and ban the non targeted low CPC ones to increase revenue but this is dependent on what exactly you are targeting. You may actually want these dumb advertisers because they can generate a hefty sum of money. A classic example would be an advertiser that owns a plumbing company in London and wants to get more customers. So he sets up an AdWords campaign but he sets the targeted keyword as "plumber". Instead he should be buying "Plumber London", "Plumber in London", Plumber in East London" etcetera instead of targeting "Plumber" which is certainly a waste of money but Google does not care and will still display these ads within the Google search engine to people who are in the extreme majority not even looking for a plumber in London but may just want job information about becoming a Plumber.

What this guy is talking about is an micro niche site (MNS), the statement that you should write about what your passionate about or love doing is especially true in this genre. If the content bores the utter living crap out of you the chance of succeeding are much lower.

When you have quality content, traffic will come to you. The problem is it takes time and patience. If you keep adding content Google will start favoring you over your competition that have written their content years ago, seo'd it and let it sit there never to be updated. Unlike what most people on these marketing boards will tell you is that you MUST buy links and other crap. Honestly you don't, if you spin your content and want traffic within a few days yeah your going to have to buy links because nobody in their right mind would even want to visit your website let alone read it.

Leaving a few self typed quality and engaging posts with a link to your site will do wonders. If your simply leaving your link on other websites or perhaps a small phrase that's not something Google will favor at all. In the past i have written 1000+ words but most around the 500 mark of quality content on sites like reddit with a link to the website and honestly the it gets the job done. If your site is entered into the google webmaster tools, it's going to get indexed and the algorithm will mostly value it's place. More content and high quality content will eventually outweigh stats like domain authority, domain age, seo practices, PR links etc etc.

For my authority sites i have MNS's that are proactivly managed and get updates once every few months or so with a quality post, they are merely there to point to my websites plus i am always in control of those websites rather then some comment or guest blog post on some weird website kinda related to my niche. Those free sites on blogspot.com, wordpress.com and some self created domain websites.

A common example of an MNS would be "Russian Dog Breeds". Now don't go making a site about dog breeds becuase honestly the compitition in this is extreme. There's pet websites that target the broad niches, there's dog specific websites that target these and then there's the MNS's that target specific keywords within the russian dog breeds, wich are a few dogs. One step further would be if you made an entire site all focussed on 1 dog and completely focus all effort on that specific dog.

Most of the people that reply too these journey threads want you to click on their spamy advertising crap in their signature. That fake copy paste "Goodluck on your journey bro".. fuck off! Most of it isn't even worth a quarter of what they want you to pay for it. Again, a proper IMer does not use shite like that. They are used for PPD, PPI and other blackhat shite. Most of them don't care, and they hope a thread becomes popular. Just look at the statistics of some of these IM journeys. 200K views, easy targetted advertisement. If your running adsense stay far away from paid services.
