Hello everyone, We are launching a platform for Indian market to enable selling custom merchandise. (Something similar to teespring). Can you put in some thoughts on getting campaign managers to the platform?

I designed and purchased one t-shirt (women's) from an Indian site and got it in 3 days. The print was perfectly clear and sharp. Colors were almost brilliant. But the t-shirt was of lower quality (thin "banyan vest" type garment). On top, it was in Slim-Fit size only, which was completely unexpected because that fit was not mentioned as the only one available on that site (I thought it would be the regular-fit type).

So that t-shirt though had the graphics that I wanted in top quality colors and sharpness, still will be unsellable by me. Anyway it was bought just to see what overall quality it was. I will give it 2 max out of 5. On top, after I sent a email to the company, the representative told me that my women customers wanting the XL size can take the men's XL size t-shirt!!! How unprofessional! That rep actually said those words on the phone!

And I forgot to ask her what should I tell my male customers who want to buy a XL (ofc men's) t-shirt? "Don't buy the XL but buy the 2XL or 3XL or you too are going to be very sorry! No returns or refunds or complaints entertained! Now GTFO!"?? :D Tell those words to the Ebay india guys, and... lol

Think of how many returns I would get everyday even if the design is top quality!!! I even told the rep that her company could produce at least 2 out of the 3 fits (slim-, regular-, loose-fit) and there wouldn't be such complaints from its clients, and the client's customers, and that would be very professional approach too... but she wasn't buying that suggestion... Anyway, I am not going to suggest my prospective customers that the ladies should always buy a men's t-shirt or the (slim-)fit isn't going to be comfortable!

The 2 points I give them are for: 1. Reproduction of my design (a generous 4.5/5.0 Stars), 2. Prompt Delivery (within 3 days I got it after ordering)...

The 3 points they lose are for the quality of the material, only one fit (that too the slim fit) is available, and that I as a SELLER, I MUST tell my female customers that they should buy only the men's t-shirts or they are going to be sorry! lol. The third point they lose is for their customer care/support division's unprofessional approach!

These support staff guys are as "professional" towards the customers as Mr Henry Ford was during his prime! Mr Henry Ford would tell his customers: "Any customer can have a car painted any color that he wants so long as it is black"!!!
    :D

Point is, take that as a lesson and look at those hurdles... then you would beat that competitor the first day you launch your project! :)

The above conversation happened just about 3 hours back...

    P.S.:
Please let me know about your site... :)

That competitor is vixxxxxxxt BTW. Beat it and you become number uno in India. :) Good luck! Just get those unpro features out and you are set to beat everyone. BTW their print quality was very good but ofc I dont know how long it will hold on repeated washes...
