    Hey

    Day 1-4
I just launched my website, i kept it away for from google until i had 50 unique articles ready, i then did all the content and on-page seo, i then submitted 20 of the articles,

    Day 5-6
then i submitted my sitemap, made a few hundred Social Bookmarks, 100 directory submissions, ran the index tool, and some secrets (whitehat ofc) :). Then im starting to submitting 2 articles a day to the website.

    Day 7
My site is now indexed, and i used IBP and Rank Checker, and it says my site is on Page 1, position 5.

IBP compared my site to all the others in top 10, and its says that i have 94% chance to be on top 1 compared to the other websites with my current seo settings. and they dont even got the keyword im using, even thou im searching on it. So perhaps this is why?

Now, i suspect this is a google dance thingie? the keywords used are for 2.5 mil searches a month, and very low competition according to google keyword tool. But page 1 right after indexing, im new to webhosting, so i know very little about it.

But just so i dont get my hopes up to fast, i can expect my site to bump up and down a lot right?

    Thanks in advance

Sounds like you're getting the newbie bonus atm. Every new site receives a little newbie bonus from google, which causes good positions in serps. But unfortunately it won't last forever.

I would highly recommend to slow it down a bit, 100 directory submissions are much for such a young site. This might bring you straight into the sandbox.

Don't you worry. Keep building the links. You'll get on TOP position.

Well i dont really believe in "sandbox" unless its like 5000 succesful backlinks im spamming a day. in my head, 100-200 backlinks in 1 day is fine, took me 3 hours to do it.

And those links wont be indexed instantly anyway, so they will pop in slowly here and there. Think im fine :)

The key is here is that you continue to build links. What kills people is when they build a lot of links and then stop. Increase the number of links you build each week and you will end up with a nice ranking. Build a lot and then stop, not so much.

Sounds like a bad keyword possibly..

2.5 mil searches a month + low competition? Probably impossible in these days :p

Have you checked the EXACT search volume?

As you said few hundred social bookmark, it is likely to get you high ranking. Just keep up the linkbuilding work and maybe create a linkwheel type thing which would allow you get even higher.
Before you do linkwheel, check this forum as the old wheel doesn't work as good as it used to according to some people so use a random linking method leaving no trace.

trust me the keyword is very used, i would almost bet 10$ that each of you have used it the last month :)
Let me just say that if you mention the keyword to someone you know, any age, childs as old people, they will give you their answer. :)

PS. ye i have checked the search volume with all sorta tools, even thou the keyword is very popular, none of the top 20 sites currently on google, is using this keyword. I dont know how they ranked high on a keyword they aint even using as a keyword, but they are. Wierd, but maybe someone got an answer to that
