What's up fellow hustlers. This weekend I went to Lean Startup Machine NJ and built a company with a team. Friday we brainstormed the idea, Saturday we went out on the streets and asked strangers if they thought it was a good idea. Then Saturday evening, we built the thing! MASSIVE ACTION.

We dont have all the kinks worked out, but we have our MVP... It's called Startup Chatup (it's like a Chat Roulette for entrepreneurs, but without the dick pictures)
Basically we let Startup Entrepreneurs get advice about their biz from other entrepreneurs.

Check it out here

And if you think it's a good idea and need help with your biz... I expect to see you on the other side.

Peace.

Is this a genuine post or are you just looking to hide your promotion in this thread?

Dude...look at when I joined and my post history!

Im not a clown. I respect this community and only try to provide value.

There are alot of people thinking of starting a biz and this is a legit way to get advice and help to do it.

I love your description of Startup Chatup.

I do hope your startup is successful!

Yeah and you want feedback on what? Your business card and public lecture room?

Without course material we can't judge you who you are, what you offer and what your trying to achieve. To us your just another self proclaimed guru (in a land overpopulated with them) trying to bullshit his way to the top. If you want to do this having a proper foundation such as a website were you post helpfull articles will go an extremely long way. For example, Matthew Woodward who is a relative new public figure on the scene could easily do this and make bank. He utlizes a mastermind group and so in a way he actually already does this but offers the content digital which saves a massive amount on overhead costs.

I see no way you can make this work whatsoever.

You have no following, a list or subscriber base where you actively promote your inner circle product, other then apparently SEO forums.

I agree that this pretty much is an advertisement in and of itself.
Goodluck with whatever your trying to achieve here.

I personally like the idea. Is this self-funded? If so, be careful and plan your marketing strategy FIRST and make sure you have the capital to execute. Too many startups these days underestimate costs, especially marketing. Since you're on a marketing forum, I hope this won't be the case :)

Good luck with the venture!

ChatRoullete for X idea is good, but for entrepreneurs? I can't see why entrepreneurs would voluntarily doing 1 on 1 chat just to help strangers. Well, they're one of the most busy person in the world. Unless you have your own team who'll help people at least for the early phase.

People don't need to use webcam to validate their startup idea, do they? What I get from your page is that people will use your startup to help people, validate ideas, and build networking. This is unrelated but if you're going to create an idea validation website, I think the concept of fivesecondtest.com is good.

But still, the general idea of ChatRoullete for X is good. I just think your target market isn't the right one. I personally would target a market where people will show something to other people over the webcam. I don't know what's that though.

This is just opinion from inexperienced person.

I think its a cool idea OP. From a business perspective I can't really see it making money. Chatroulette is an incredibly expensive site to run from the perspective of hosting costs. Last I read they were spending 6 figures a month just on bandwidth. How do you plan to monetize it?

I could see myself using it. How do you plan to monetize? When do you plan to monetize?

Agreed. I like it to as networking is key for start up companies just like it is helpful in IM/SEO

I'd like to be optimistic on this not being for promotion yet it fault awkward when I was 301'd like 4 times...
