    I'll let this stand.

    BUT KEEP THE POLITICS OUT.

Larry flint just committed a crime. Not sure of the law in America, but helping, organizing, or or inducing criminal activity is illegal in a whole bunch of the world, and very different to free speech. Bit of a twats twat imo.

If there is an issue thats so burning, the people should demand an answer, lead by impartial media.

And this is the circle jerk.

Keep party politics, the state of America, conspiracy, tax law, supposition, and anything else thats not fact based out of this thread.

At the minimum it's conspiracy if someone goes through with it.

Personally, I don't give a damn about Mitt Romney's taxes. If he weren't paying the taxes he owes he'd be in jail. It's a non-story.

    That 's rather counter-intuitive ;)
Besides, I doubt they want to know about him being illegal - they want to know the % based on his income - just like Google pays < 5% in taxes legally.

Yup its a party dig for a stat that can be used as another robotic talking point from both sides. I wish that dude from the Newsroom was real, but never the less, i'll be tuned in for all of the debates as US politics is the best reality TV show on the planet.

The percentage he pays is a non-story too. He doesn't have a job and hasn't had one for years. If you don't have a job you don't pay income tax. It's the American way .

Larry has been through this before. Either way, who gives a shit. Give me some substance and tell me how you are going to help the American people. Your tax returns are irrelevant.

America just like nearly every other country puts "All other income sources" in the tax code. But certain types of income sources have much lower tax rates.

Personally I 'm in favor of no taxation at all, but I don't think all US voters agree with my view.
Besides, job and income are two completely different things. ;)

Careful. Future posts should NOT go into political theory. Jazzc you aren't far from my own PERSONAL philosophy, but I be dammed if we get into libertarian debate here, keep it only on the IT side of the story.

Agree with this but we're already getting into territory regarding percentages, income vs cap gains etc. This could blow up if not kept in check and from my perspective, I'm getting tired of threads bashing people, parties etc. This thread could easily turn into this:
