Large forum, stuffing question, need advice

I own a forum that gets 70k impressions per day.
I just started to stuff some cookies and need to know if this will be over kill?

I think the site may get only 20k uniques so does that mean there will only be clicks counted on the 20k or 70k?

The iframe is in the footer so everytime a new page i loaded, the cookie is stuffed.

What kind of forum? I run a phpbb board and I find when I add the invisible popup generator i get wierd things happening to the board. Like if I add it in the header, when you reload the page it gets pulled to the middle of the page and stuff, if you put the script in the footer, it pulls the page down upon refreshing

I use vbulletin

I just cant figure out the best way to drop cookies using a large forum and still stay under the radar.

did you guys try 1 px iframe with a metarefreshed page inside it?

I understand what the 1px does. But what is the metarefresh for?

Removes the referer (supposedly)

Thing is though is that you are going to be getting 70K CLICKS per day * you will be triple stuffing some ppl* and the same amount of impressions (if you have amazon banners ONLY on your forums)


Your going to need to find a way to boost some impressions

find some aff programs that all the forum members might use

Well if you are worried that you get too many visitors stuffed do it randomly.

If isn't difficult to write a little php script which

- checks if a visitor has already been stuffed
- only stuffs very x visitor where you can easily change the x
