    Home Page:
    I am ranking #1 on google.pl for two very popular keywords.
    I am ranking #2 on google.pl for one very popular three words keyword.

    I am ranking in the 2 page on google.com for the two very popular keywords.
    I am ranking in the #5 on google.com for the one very popular three words keyword.

    The site is in Polish and has also 40% of English content.

    The header has the following tags among the others:
    Code:
    <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" dir="ltr" lang="pl-PL" xml:lang="pl"

    ...

    <meta name="language" content="pl_PL" />

    GWT says that "Your site's domain is currently associated with the target: Poland" - and it cannot be changed (no option to change it).

    Question:
    Is there anything I can do in order to keep my ranking on google.pl and increase my ranking on google.com? Maybe change the language tags? Which ones should be changed, the lang="pl-PL" or content="pl_PL"?

    NOTE:
    My bigger competitor (the one that ranks #1 on google.com and google.pl) doesn't have ANY language tag in the source code... but I don't know how their GWT is set :(

    Please suggest
