So I have about 20 niche keyword domains that I'm going to register related to my site: http://www.franchise-analyzer.com/htmltest2/. You will see that this page is a landing page as it forces the user to press back or submit the form to get a free copy of the software.

I was wondering if I mostly just change it so they keyword density for my keyword is high, will I rank very highly even though it's semi-duplicate content? For example, let's say that my domain is http://www.bestfranchise.com. Then I write "best franchise" a bit in the page and have a site http://www.bestfranchise.com/best-franchise-in-texas/ that uses the same landing page but the keywords "best franchise in texas", do you think I will rank very well for this?

Note, I will be doing a lot of bookmarking, backlinks, linkwheels, etc. HOWEVER, I will be using a rather generic salespage for each site.

If you think this is a bad way to go about it let me know a method that you would recommend that would score well with SEO (most important) then convert well(second most important).

    Thanks!

I guess fundamentally my question is, should I build belongs and hire writers to write all of the content then worry about converting the traffic later? Or will I still be able to rank well with sites full of landing pages that are keyword optimized(you will see that my landing pages are not text-rich. Lots of graphics, video and a form input)?

    Let me know.

    Thanks

If you have a too high a keyword density then google will see it as keyword spamming and penalise you plus if it is duplicate content then Google will not believe you are worthy of being high in the serps. Original content really does work wonders.

So you would advise to post unique articles for each keyword set, backlink the hell out of it, get ranked highly, then worry about conversion. Correct?

    Thanks!
