You can never have too much diversity, as long as the anchors are niche related it can only help I suppose.

    I wouldn't recommend 1% anchor text tho. I like 5% - 10% for my main keyword.

Its also possible the anchor text is so low because he used the main anchor a lot with his PBN.

You cant see his PBN if hes blocked crawlers.

1% can be enough. If on-page is good and those 1% come from strong pages that clearly has content centered around the keyword.

There is a very comprehensive guide on anchor text here that actually suggest that just 1% might be a good number.

I keep my main anchor to no more than 5% maximum and I have quite a few number 1 rankings these days. SEO is not rocket science.

May I ask how many links do you build each day to an url and a domain overall ?

In my opinion it's dangerous to build more than 10 links a day to a domain (including urls) and if you have 3 urls ranking on 1 site, then it leaves you with 3 links a day to each url.

    3~x31=100~ generic/url/random anchors

    4 money backlinks per month = 4 / 100 , that's 4%

If you rank even more than 3 pages then you build less money anchors = takes longer to rank.

A few backlinks are enough to rank even some mid terms, if the domain is right, google will rank pages on autopilot with a few backlinks.

1% is relative to the amount of backlinks. What I mean is if you just have 100 links and you use 1% (just 1 in this case) as your main anchor, it's not going to help. However, if on the other case if you have over thousands of backlinks, then it's something. But even for 1000 backlinks, it'd be merely 10 (1%). I would say 5-10% is good and that's what I use and seems to be working.
