(CNN) -- Frustrated that you can't share files the size of your entire music collection via e-mail? Google wants to help.
Gmail users can now send files of up to 10 GB using Google Drive, the Web giant's cloud-storage service.
That's 400 times bigger than files that can be shared in a regular e-mail, according to a blog post by Google's Gmail team.

I wonder if the mods will allow this to be an approved file sharing site since you can move large files now and not get flagged as quick as conventional file sharing sites. It doubles on iCloud and three more GB free than Skydrive, 10 GB Free with G Drive? With ten G Drive accounts you have a Terabyte! of cloud storage, and move and store data without restrictions or ads or stupid download timers on free accounts.

No online file sharing service can rival google, No dropbox, No Skydrive, No iCloud, they don't have the infrastructure to compete with Google's cloud offerings. They may switch up interfaces, but the main aspect of storage is STORAGE SPACE, not pretty GUI menu's, people want space and to be able to manipulate their data without restrictions.

watch your docs? So dropbox has their eyes closed on your docs too huh? who says you have to store personal things there? No information is safe when it's uploaded to any file sharing or dropbox site, the moment you transmit data, it's no longer safe, no matter what their T.O.S promises you.

You can also use it for other purposes than just file sharing, you can use it to back up your blogs, you know those large mysql backups? You should have redundancy setup for your backups also, these type of free LARGE FILE SHARING permissions aid in that aspect. Think outside the box...Don't have tunnel vision.

They do it for millions of blogs they wont have a problem to do it to find blackhat stuff. They wont even ask you to.
