Hey Guys,
I was hitting Kijiji.com pretty hard a few months back & I had a DSL modem to change my IP address everyday etc.. Eventually they ended up banning my entire IP Pool and that was the end of that (for a while). Funny thing I took my laptop over to a friends house to try to get some more posting in and I discovered something strange. I when I tried to make a post on his computer Kijiji had no CAPTCHA, and the posts went through perfectly. BUT when I tried posting via my Laptop through his internet connection the post all has CAPTCHA and none of them went through. So i went back on his PC tried it again and the posts all went through without CAPTCHA coming up..
Questions is "How The Hell Does Kijiji Know I'm Using My Laptop to Post"? When I went over to his house I checked the IP's on both the computers & they are the exact same. So it leaves me to one conclusion that they have some way if knowing you exact computer your are using to post?
Btw, I cleared my cookies, deleted registry values for IE & firefox, and re-installed both. Same issue.
