    Hey all,

Am quite experienced in creating websites for Amazon and usually can find lots to write about to fill up content on-site.

I have found 6x awesome low comp keywords which total about 40k searches a month but the only problem is that the products are quite hard to write about - the listings on Amazon only show a few lines of a description of each and no way can you write 500 words on each item as it will just end up being a load of fluff.

I was wondering if I grabbed 50 products and wrote 100-200 words on each of quality content would this suffice?

Competing websites (big companies) seem to just grab the description of each product and paste it in - not much unique content going on to be honest and the top 10 pages competing are usually just a large gallery of multiple products with just a title for each (click title and you're brought to the products individual page which has barely any text).

Let me know what you think! Cheers

Nothing wrong with 100 - 200 word descriptions / articles, don't believe all the 500+ words shit.

Thanks bro, yeah Im stuck in the old school mentality but it seems more and more frequent that the top 10 have only 100-200 words of content on each page.

Suppose this could be a good thing as sitting down and spending 5 minutes creating unique content should trump unoriginal/copied text.

I also find more and more articles these days holding top positions with 200 words, and in the past I have wasted hours trying to make an article at least 400 words, now I just throw a few hundred words together. I think as long as your site has content too, it really does not matter. I am yet to come across one 1000 word article ranking or several 1000 word articles on the first page. I have not once came across this, yet many will preach bigger articles rank better. In my opinion, it is just a load of repeated drivel with no basis.

Nothing wrong with 100-200, make sure they're well written and don't have grammar errors.

I am Irish so am a native English speaker :)

Lets say the site's main targetted KWs have very low comp and most of the top 10 have very little content on those pages. Would, say, 30x 200 word articles which are very unique and well written be enough so that I can begin link building?

I attach a screen of one of the top 10 page metrics below. This KW has 14.8k searches a month - I know its not SUPER easy but its easier than a lot of KWs I have ranked in top 10 in the past..
