keywords in sidebar but not in content?

hello im making an auto blog with wordpress and most of the content i recieve does not have my excact keywords i am trying to rank for. Now i was thinking is it possible for me to rank for a certain keyword just by using the kw in header tags category tags my domain name my footer and my sidebar widgets? just to be safe i also will add one article with a good keyword density. Guys please help me will this work??
