So when using MS or Micro Niche finder, do you guys use the keywords to come up with domain names or do you use it on your posts/articles?

I've done both. It is always a great idea to use your main KW in your domain name. However, I'm currently battling a keyword domain I used a hyphen in. I would not recommend using a hyphen.

Without the main KW in the domain, in a competitive niche you will need to build a fair few links to the page to get the site up the rankings.
review and scam webnames are ok, but I have found that scam doesnt convert as well as review, thats just my findings but it may well be totally different for others!

Anyone have thoughts on using hyphens in a domain name? Would that be considered spammy, or is it better to put something on the end of the domain name?

Hyphens in domain names are ok although I have found that my sites with hyphens under perform compared to sites without. However, that doesnt mean to say that they wont work for you.
For whatever niche you are using, think if you had done a search in google would you click your domain or does it look dodgy. Remember if you think it looks spammy then probably so will the people looking up your site!
