I've noticed that some folks are offering services that pick out keywords and/or niches to those who subscribe to them. Some are free and some are paid such as Niche a day (free), Aff Niche Club (paid), and 1nstaCa$h Keywords (paid).

On the one hand, I can see these services being useful to its suscribers since some of the legwork for coming up with ideas has already been done. On the other hand, it's possible that these services may not be so helpful since the information being shared may result in rendering these keywords/niches useless due to everyone and their dog going after these keywords resulting in more competition. This is especially true if there are a lot of suscribers to the same keyword service.

So what are your thoughts on this? Do you think these services are any good? Or do they best serve as a way to figure out which keywords NOT to bet on due to their "overexposure"?

It can be profitable I suppose. Everything in the business comes down to...
"Spend $X + Y time to make $Z profit"
If the amount of money you spend lowers your time so you can get to the profits quicker then yeah its worth it.

If nothing else it might be good to try it once or twice and try to learn what they did. Then you can do it yourself for free and got better in the process.

Thanks for the idea. This is certainly yet another good use for these services.;)
