    Hey blackhatters!

I'm creating a ton of sites after I sold my site for $7800 off the awesome advice from you guys!!

but after the penguin update, 95% of my MNS got hit so now I'm going with more content rich sites..more expensive but I think better in the long run. Anyways so I have a question about keyword density

I have 700+ word articles written but I am telling my writer to use 7-10 secondary keywords. The secondary keywords are like this for example:

    dog collars
    dog food
    dog help
    dog training tips
    walking the dog

    and etc

So the secondary keywords are only used once or twice, but the article has the word "dog" 7-10 times in the article, sometimes even more.

Will this get me penalized or am I ok?

Do you think my other articles should use only 1 keyword with 1% keyword density and not use secondary keywords at all?

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

If you are posting those articles to 3rd party sites for backlinks then i would not worry, If you are using the content on your own site then do not stuff keywords, i go for my main keyword once within the h1 tag, second in the first paragraph of the body, and one more around the centre.

Its not just the keywords you have to pay attention to, you have to optimize the who article, if your writer is not an seo, i would do it myself. Search engines do not only look for keywords, they look at the words before and after, such as "where can i" buy dog collars" its good to think what a user would type to find your page, think about the hint words related to your main keyword.

I have no probelm in ranking any of my sites even brand new ones, scrape the suggestions for hint words and try include 2/3 of those in your article. dont make it look spammy, as long as it makes sense, you will be ok.

7 times for one keyword is not really that much if its wrote correctly, nobody can give you a answer to this question because if they new we would all be doing it, but persoanlly i would not be worrying about 1-5% densicty. If you drop rank, just ditch a few and ping and start over, i am always going up and down, the trick is to have enough sites that when one goes down, you have many more to take its place.

dont put all your eggs in one basket, make lots of micro sites, $$$$$$$$$$

Thanks :) I'm posting these articles for my own sites

with my primary keyword for 700 word articles, I had it 5-7 times, which was 1% keyword density (first sentence, h1/h2/h3 tags, last sentence in paragraph) and secondary keywords 7-10 times.

But with primary keyword + secondary keyword I noticed that although they were different the first keyword in the longtail secondary keywords was the same. So "dog" would have been repeated over 10 times but they were all different long tail keyword that had the word "dog"

So my common sense tells me that it was way over-optimized. Do you have a secondary keyword strategy?

Should my secondary keywords not include keywords that are part of the primary keyword?

normally i only use primary keywords for the article on the main site. Then to post on the web 2.0 and so on i replace the primary keyword with secondary keywords and spin them. which doesn't seem like over optimized article and does a good job.
