Something i don't get, i use the google keyword tool to do my keyword research and after i get done there i run the harvested keywords in the niche research tool in senuke. But ever software like market samurai and other software that is like it, i always get different numbers. Like with the google keyword tool tells me that i could expect 400 hits a month if i was ranked #1 and the approximate CPC for that keyword is $3. But in market samurai, it tells me that i will get 5 clicks and the CPC is $0.00. I Have no filters on and [exact] ticked.

It's not just market samurai it's every niche research tool i try, it always gives me a different numbers. What am i doing wrong?

I'm uploading a video to youtube to show you an example on how i research with google. Maybe you can spot something i'm doing wrong.

I would trust what google keyword tool says of any other third party tool.

One thing I noticed however is that you are setting the competition filter to low. Unless this is for a PPC campaign which I doubt, you are shooting yourself in the foot by using that filter. That low competition in google keyword tool means low ADWORDS competition meaning less advertisers paying to put ads up on the keyword meaning less relevant ads for adsense.

Keyword Optimization is highly preferable one, but many of us forget about its important.

Likely said, before doing SEO, one most know what to do with his keyword.

As for i am concern, do follow the guidelines and go with Google. because third party tool are based on google but not same as google.

so you are doing right work only, dont confuse with the numbers.

Totally agree with Beacon. Even though I don't trust Google...I do use their reported stats over any third party tool. I usually end up checking Google and a third party before making a decision on a keyword.

I sort them out by Global Monthly Search. And copy paste a few good keywords on Google to see the exact Competition (no. of results).

Just set it to ignore or similar (As in do not give it a variable). The competition is referring to the Pay Per Click Competition if you were to purchase ad's on AdWords.
