I currently use Google Keyword Tools only to try to do keyword research but I am confused what do I look for.

I dont use MS because it is too laggy for my computer.

What should I be looking for when doing keyword research? How many global views should I be looking for and how do I know if I should go with a certain keyword?

    Any ebook recommendations?

I have tried. My only problem is my $200 laptop cant handle it. It can handle everything else (Scrapebox for example) but not Market Samurai since its so CPU intensive. Any other suggestions and what I should be looking for?

Best keywords are those with the least competition with high views.

However some keywords are valuable even with low views because they have higher view/click ratio.

I'm familiar with Google Adwords tool but I am not exactly sure what numbers to be looking at. I know the adwords CPC does matter since you dont want low paying ads on your blog. I am not sure If I should be aiming at 10K global monthly searches or possibly 50K global monthly searches. Any suggestions?

I agree with you. If the application was a regular EXE file, Im sure it would not lag as much and I would be able to run it.

    u need a plan :)

    1)find a niche
2)whats the purpose of the site(adsense cpa..)
3)try to find some rankable keywords for your niche(depending on your time/budget)
    4)check the competition
    5)install wordpress:))

Detinut: I have 2 blogs that are doing somewhat well but here is my question.

I use Adsense but would love to use CPA but I have no clue where to start on it. I have a blog about a tech gadget out on the market and can definitely use CPA for it but no clue where to start.

I also dont know how to do proper keyword research since im not sure what stats to be looking at. Any ideas?
