    Hi Guys,

I have finally started to make some money online and decided that it was time for me to buy a keyword research tool. I have heard that Wordtracker is the best, but also the most expensive. I know that the highest price does not always equal the best.

If you could only buy one keyword research tool (I can afford Wordtracker) which one would you buy and why?

I am open minded. I just want to make the right choice.

    Thanks for your help.

Hopefully, this post will help a lot of new readers here.

    Suzie,

Do you think that Keyword Elite is better or as good as Wordtracker?

You would have to use a bit of everything...to get the right type of keywords..

keyword elite..(too much junk keywords..have to filter out a lot)
Google Keyword tool ( best & free)
    MSN/yahoo keyword tools (free)
Wordtracker (too many people use it...high price for a years subscription)

Hey leothelion, All of the above tools speak for themselves as I think they are capable.

I use nichebot and MicroNicheFinder for my keyword research. nichebot is a monthly fee and MicroNicheFinder is a 1X fee.

I am really starting to appreciate MicroNicheFinder. With this keyword tool I am locating great longtail keywords and am getting good traffic.

Now I am no expert but I wouldn't trade MicroNicheFinder for any of the above.

If you research this software and decide you like it, you should buy quick as I just received an email from the programmer about an update coming out soon and he states the price is going up from $67 to $97 due to a couple cool upgrades he has implemented.

I only own the software, I am not the programmer or an affiliate.

    Good luck

Well this is probably quite obvious to you leothelion, but just in case jump over to this thread - Micro Niche Finder, other Niche apps...? - Someone claims (I didn't verify) they have keys to unlock software for free.

I didn't think this was possible, but they are saying it is.

I just used the new google search tool for one site and added a dozen new keywords. If I use adwords, the site could receive 1100 - 1400 more hits per day.

Same here. I think that if I could have only one tool in the whole world then undoubtedly it would be the free Google keyword tool (I mean the old one not this new thing).

Some people who were former fans of Micro Niche Finder are talking about something called Market Samurai. It's meant to serve a similar purpose. Of course some others are also fans of "spying" keyword tools like Spyfu.

The thing about these latter tools, compared to the original ones like Wordtracker, Google Keyword tool, Nichebot is that these tooks sniff out one type of keyword only: those that *convert*. It's a different kind of ball game to the attitude that says "just give me keywords". Instead the tool-maker has asked: "what kind of keywords make money"?
