    I everyone,

before I buy a domain, or create a new post, I use several different keyword research tool´s, to find out the number of searches of the keywords that I am targeting.

I use Adwords Keyword tool, Micro Niche finder and keyworddiscovery(dot)com

Micro Niche Finder and Adwords are pretty much the same, they gave me the same results, but keyworddiscovery give me much less searches from the same keywords.

I recently get one of my sites, in the 3º place of a keyword, that has 60 K searches a month( according M.N.Finder and Adwords tool), and keyworddiscovery give me like 300 searches a month.

The problem is that I can´t get much traffic to my site, it has like 20 visitors a day. I begin to think that the search numbers that google and MNF provide, are complettly wrong...

The numbers are from " exact searches" only.

Does anyone has the same problem?
    Wich tools are more accurate?

    Thank you

    Cat

I disagree. I think keywordspy.com is far the best choice.

The exact match avg monthly numbers from google are actual search volumes, as per what goog says. From my experience I would say that the search volume to actual traffic is close but not exact. If your site is ranking position 3 and not getting much traffic, you my try tweaking the page title or meta description to entice users to click

If you only have one site in the top 10 you will only get a fraction of the searches to visit your site, especially if you aren't number 1 for your keyword. Build more sites, articles, blog posts, ect... and try to fill up the top 10 sites with your own. Also, another tool you can check traffic with is tools.seobook.com/keyword-tools/seobook/
