    Hi,

I cant get the exact match for a keyword I want to as a .com, .net, .co.uk or a .org. Most of them have been snatched up and parked. I can get .info and .co. So what would be the best solution. To go for a domain with the keyword but for example [best]mydomainname.com or go for mydomainname.info or mydomainname.co. The idea of putting something like "best" before the domain would be appropriate for the niche but I want to rank the site just for mydomainname.com which has a lot more searches.

    Thanks!

Google don't bother about .co much in SERPs, so avoid that.
.info becomes too difficult to rank for an average IMer, avoid that too.

Put some prefix/suffix to your keyword and get a .com

Not exactly. Ranking .info's really isn't hard. I had found a good keyword back in December and everything but the .info was taken. By March, I was on the front page with the majority of the effort taking place in Dec/Jan. Although, I do prefer a TLD. It is not impossible to rank without one.
