Keyword Research: Ahrefs vs Semrush, which is better?

I have used Ahrefs and Semrush and I can say that Ahrefs is better for crawling backlinks.
However, I can't really say about the Keyword Research part. So I am thinking about asking for everyone's opinions.

- Keyword volume: which tool gives more precise information?
- Keyword difficulty: which tool gives more precise information?

Both tools are good, it depends on which suits you. Ahrefs is more costly but still better.

Both are good and both are not 100% accurate. They have different crawl systems and they just give ideas. So you can follow one of them.

Anyone who says Semrush is better than ahrefs is crazy.

For both of these parameters, Ahrefs gives more accurate data.

I like semrush more than ahrefs because it is more affordable for me.

None of them are accurate.

You gotta do manual researching to determine the difficulty of the keyword.

I love ahrefs but would really recommend you to use manual by keyword.ai , as its shows better stats then both of these .

Both are preferable. Semrush is good for researching keyword and analysis. But I prefer both for a better outcome

All the tools will showed different results. I usually recommend SEMrush for keyword research.

Ive always used SEMrush but that's simply just because it was the first tool i used and got comfortable with. I would go with whichever you're comfortable using. I have heard ahrefs data is slightly more accurate though.

Both ahrefs and semrush use similar data sources with different algorithms to estimate the difficulty of ranking for specific keywords, the best option for you depends on your needs, so compare both options.

Both tools are good but you can't rely on the KD scores from any keyword tool out there.
Using keyword research tools saves a lot of time.
You need to know how to analyze the intent & SERP difficulty yourself.
Content structure is very important factor to build topical relevance for a website.
So, clustering & grouping of keywords is also important.
Also the volume thing is unreliable, what I do is I take values from multiple tools and take their avg.
BTW there's no superior source for keyword research other than google itself, if you know to study the serp data you can figure out the importance and difficulty of a keyword yourself.

noob question. Once you have crawled backlinks from other website what do you do with them? Which is the purpose of knowing that a website that is not yours has backlinks with onetherone?

There is no tool that gives the most accurate data. Compared to Ahrefs, Semrush is better for keyword research.

You can track the number of backlinks and the types of links your competitors are creating.

It will give you an idea of what you need to improve on your website to outrank them. It is also possible to replicate your competitors' links. However, they must be of high quality.

Both are pretty good. You can try both. Comparatively semrush is less expensive.

Both are good tools. But I would recommend Semrush, it works really well.
