Because at this point I think it's a useless piece of shit for anyone; even people that want to buy Adwords. I think Google was so fucking determined to push Internet Marketers and SEO's away from Do-It-Yourself keyword research that they butt-fucked the Google Adwords Keyword Tool with a Norway Pine tree. and labeled it's bleeding rectum "Google Keyword Planner".

I'm PLANNING on finding software that works, something that does it's fucking job, and doesn't contort itself around Google's needs to the extent that the only people that gain any functionality from this bleeding rectum are the people that don't know how the word "functionality" had been defined previously.

We should form an organization that donates a percentage of a User's unused computer time for activities that are beneficial to the community, such as constantly scraping Google's keyword data and making it freely available in a functionally designed GUI.

I disagree. I do SEO for some seasonal domains, meaning the volume spikes at diff. times of year. Keyword planner has been super accurate regarding times of month when volume spikes. And the new data is always exact match, meaning you don't have to switch and deal with BS broad match. I'm actually using it more now than I was before. It's just another tool though, remember that.

What are you talking about? It's the same thing, they just changed the design of the keyword tool. You can do 100% of the stuff you did with the KT in the new KP.

My advice is that you try and learn the new functionalities. Of course, if you find a better alternative with accurate search volumes that doesn't rely on Google data, please share with the group :)
