'keyword.in.*' domain or 'keyword-something.com', which one is better?

I found a nice keyword which .com, .net, .org and .info domains already taken as a parked domain.

Now I can get the "keyword.in.*" domain easy enough, but I'm not sure whether it is better than "keyword-something.com" or not - as I fear google will see the .in.* version as a local thing and penalize me on global search.

So what should I go with this? An "exact match" keyword.in.* domain or keyword-something.com?

    Any thoughts on this?

Don't ever use .in unless you're targeting India only.

I would go without the hyphen. I personally use hyphen if there is more than one keyword in the domain name. In your case, just go ahead with keywordsomething.com but that something should compliment the keyword so that it attracts the searcher to click your site and don't sound out of place.

    Cheers,
