    Hey guys,

I have been writing lots of articles for backlinks and just got this question in mind.

Does keyword density matter at all for backlinks?

Would it matter if I had 1 KW 20 or 6 times in a 300 word article?

I havent thought about this, but it would be interesting to see what people thinkk :)

I think it does matter. Otherwise, some article submission directory will not set the keyword density as part of the submission rules. Bots may think the article is spam or partially spam if the same keyword is found again and over again. But again if the article flow is great and it reads well, I guess is OK though. But I would still try to change some KW to LSI or synonym word.

    It certainly does matter.

By far the best rule-of-thumb is to just write naturally. If you're trying to boost it, it will look and feel like stuffing, but if you write naturally, the balance will be just right.

You will benefit from applying the same principles of good money site content to your articles; you want Google to index them and pass authority through to your money site. Links built from spammy content will not be as valuable.

I dont think there's a magic number for keyword density. Just make sure relevant keywords appear in the article in a natural way. LSI helps, so that you can refer to a car as an automobile, vehicle etc.
