Keyword competition wise... How would you define an "easy" keyword? A "hard" one?

Let's say I have a few different key phrases I want to target. Just as an example...

The first phrase has Google competition of: 74,000 sites

The second phrase has Google competition of: 296,000 sites

The third phrase has Google competition of 413,000 sites

I know this is kind of a grey area... I'm just curious... Given that competition, would you consider any of them "easy" ? Any of them "hard" to compete with? Basically, I'm just looking for a little guidance as far as what I should be looking for in an "easy to target" key phrase as far as the numbers go.

    Thanks.
