keyword alternatives, raning but no hits.

Hi,

I was wondering what tool or service you would use to find alternative keywords in your niche?

A few of the keywords I'm ranking on spot 1- 3 for don't generate any traffic, at least not much so I guess somehow I badly failed to do propper research. They are 2 and 3 words keywords.
