So I thought about every way to get more followers and how I'm struggling to get 10-20 followers per day

Since the botting situation is kinda dead(from what I heard) it seems that the key to growing on Instagram is with money.

If you have money, you can run Facebook ads, Instagram ads, or do shoutouts with bigger pages(hoping they arent full of fake followers)

I don't know how anyone could organically get 200+ followers per day.

Even if youre content is high quality and good, how are people going to find your page?

It still comes down to advertising your page somehow.

Of course you can still manually follow 200 people a day or whatever the limit is. I heard you can get 25%-30% follow back rate(not sure)

So bottom line. Takes money to make money. Everything is easier with money.

You might as well make money in some other way, then use that money to grow your Instagram.

Sorry I know what I've said is probably nothing knew but I wanted to share what I've experienced

I have a 13k follower babe niche page and I use hashtags and do everything in my power to get followers the free way

Anyways, any feedback or thoughts would be cool

I am getting 200+ followers organically! So, its completely possible to get even more followers per day naturally without paying a dime. You just don't have to have QUALITY content but you must have to have the eyes for recognizing QUALITY contents that has potential to grow viral. Another thing to add, you must be consistent when running a page or a bunch of page. I have started with IG since late 2019, now I have almost 10 accounts and they all are growing organically, some of them already hit 10k and some of them are in 5k but I am happy with the growth as long as I am making money and not spending anything for their growth!

I own a couple of theme pages, as I mentioned earlier. I mainly repost contents with my own way!

Repost pages are still a good way to go about Instagram. Just make sure you post HIGH QUALITY PICS.
I have a few theme pages growing organically and I never spent 1$ on advertisement. One of them is growing 1k per day since 6 months, wanna know how I did it?
I post about 2 times/day, I spent like 2 days only to study the best hashtags that could get me featured on Top Posts, I never let a day pass without posting. I engage with people through stories, surveys and Q&A.
Of course the page is in a very passionate niche, people really love this sub-niche, so it's easier. Think about "Music" niche, but it's even more specific. Like I am targeting "Dubstep music".

Good quality post, consistency, hashtag study.
These 3 will make you bank on Instagram.

You are absolutely right! At first, I thought IG is dead and it's saturated when I used IG for blackhat stuffs (botting etc). But now I know, IG is a goldmine if you use it in a good way (white hat) and the amount of money you can make is insane!

IG helps people that posts quality content which has an audience. Quality = interactions = time spent on IG = more profits for the platform
BUT you have to help Instagram spread your content through hashtags.

The more followers you have - the more organic followers you'll gain / day. Do you really think the pages with 100k+ grow only by running ads?

I just started my Instagram Journey here and I was inspired that I'm getting 200-300 Followers per day and I wanted to share my journey with you guys. But not always 200-300 followers sometimes less.
Growing 1K per day is really wayyyy too much!!! If I read this post before, I wouldn't start my Journey :D
Hashtags are the key point in growing. If you have any tips that you can share feel free to tell us.

More than 150 people a day did not work for me. There are 20k subscribers on the account. Can I somehow improve the results?

A bit of motivation for you guys, this is my best performing account: https://imgur.com/a/84lWCHS
It's in the cars niche, lot of passionate people here that will share your high quality posts in their stories!
Of course there are a lot of cars, like Mercedes, Audi, Ferrari etc.
For each of them I have a set of hashtags that I have studied, after days and days of testing to see which one is performing better :D

Another tip is this: take a look at your analytics, understand what time your followers are online the most, and post your pictures 1 hour before that. For example if my follower base is active especially at 9 pm, I will post my picture at 8/8.30 pm, so that I'll grow slow in the first 30 min, and then I'll receive a boost by my most active followers, gaining a viral-like effect.
In fact I don't really think that having interactions in the first minutes is a thing anymore. It's not a must anymore, let's say like that.

I don't post too many stories. Quality is king here. I make stories 3 4 times per week. Instagram gives you more space if you don't post stories everyday. So for example make stories on Monday then skip Tuesday and so on :)

I've been getting 200-300 followers a day just by getting on the explorer page. I tried using hashtags before although I usually get pretty low impressions from them. Do you recommend any tutorials on BHW to follow or any sites that you use for hashtag research?

Wow you're nailing it! You're gonna get half million followers soon, well done.
With what program or what website you check your analytics? And how do you choose hashtags, do you do them manually or how?
Are you sure for stories because I post 5 stories per day and I think the more I post the more the story views increase!

I don't use sites or guides, I just research the hashtags in my niche and see where I can rank my post and where I cannot. When you're starting out it's pointless to put hashtags like "dogs" because there's just too much competition, you will never rank your post in the Top9. Instead try looking for a more targeted hashtag where the top9 posts have a number of likes you can compete with. If your average number of likes is 500 for every post, you have to attack those hashtags where the top spots have from 400 to 600/700 likes. Otherwise it's useless.
Remember anyway that top posts change for every people that are searching that hashtag. If we both search #dogs, you and I will get different top posts, maybe just 2/3 posts will be the same. :) It depends on the accounts and posts we engage with.

AVOID any stupid hashtag that have nothing to do with your account, like "follow4follow" "followback" "love" "instamood" "instaday" or shit like that, useless!

I experienced shadowbanning just once or twice in my life cause I almost always went white-hat or with moderate f/u, but those 2 times last about 10 days where I had almost 80% in reach decrease.. my post used to average 50/60.000 views from hashtag alone and during the shadowban I struggled to reach 5.000 views.
Did you try to ask to your friends if they were able to see your posts in the hashtag session right after you post?

I use ninjalitics, which is an italian service totally free. (I'm italian)
I choose hashtags manually and every week I see if they still perform good, carefully checking if I'm able to rank in every one of them. If I see that for a certain hashtag I'm not even showing up in the first 10/15 places, I try to change it with a new one.
Better to dominate 1 small hashtag rather than be the 20/30th spot for a bigger hashtag for me :D It's difficult to see people scrolling down a lot to go through the hashtag section.. usually the top 9 spots are interesting enough to take their click = no views for those after the top spots. It's like you're on page 2 of google
For what concerns the stories, it depends on how engaging your stories are. If you're posting good stories and people react to them, you can keep up the good work! Although 5 times a day is a lot! Depends on the niche your account is in I guess. Also depends on the audience, tech guys or "entrepreneur" niche could be annoyed by having your stories all day showing on their screen. But boomers might enjoy 100 stories everyday on dogs/cats fail compilation :D

I like to keep it simple and minimal.. I don't really care about story views right now, even tho I should cause they are a good factor when it comes up to negotiate the price for a shoutout. But now I just wanna reach half a milion followers, then we'll see about money.

Nice thread. I just want to know what was the limit of following per day?

I'm presently doing follow/unfollow and getting around 20% follow back.
Is there any limit on unfollowing too and can we know by any means the number of followers that we got from the following that we do?

You sell shouts?

Lol so I am the only one in this thread who has spent $1k on ig ads to grow account to 15K followers in 1 year.

After reading this, I néed to go back and check my hashtags. Me too posting 5 stories per day.

Also I try to keep engagement rate below 4% because these e-commerce stores are told to choose ig account for shoutouts that have less than 4% rate and above that means fake engagement. Is that true?

I also need to put my account on various marketplace where customers go to buy shoutouts.
