I am starting to work on backlinking my backlinks and I am wondering if there are any tools or easy way to keep track of a list of main back links so that they are easier to backlink?

Any tools or methods you can share would be appreciated. I am managing many sites and getting articles and backlinks from many sources. Really want to organize things.

    Still need to release this..

I use a tool that I built off a database engine..looks something like this:

Basically I build out a link run, export my list of new links and then dump it into my database program. From there I can get an idea of how much backlinking effort i'm doing for each of my sites (and I have a ton). In the last thread, I mentioned that i'd be making this program available as I think it's very much needed, but i'm really trying to optimize the link ingestion time into the database. It's not a very fast/quick db so right now importing a link list of say 5k backlinks is taking roughly 12 minutes.

For all Google Analytic is simply best for tracking backlinks. You may use these sites to watch you backlinks, they are bluebacklink com, backlinkwatch com, etc.

I would like a web based platform but for now This is what I do.

Keep everything on an external drive 1TB
    Have a folder called "links"
Have a sub folder with the name of the site
Label each .txt file with the place I got the links

Example: BHW-UserName-Type Of Links-Keyword Used For Links

Then I just copy the .txt file to dripable or ping farm or what ever Im going to use to backlink to that .txt file.

So far it works and really really basic.

Thanks guys.... I am looking at google docs as a possible way to keep things accessible and "on the cloud". I haven't found a reason to really separate them into different files based on their source, so I am just dumping them all into one big text file. So far, I like this approach.
