If you can, do, if you can't, teach. Thats for me though, not the person I'm looking to JV with. SEO and SEM have never been my stronghold, I prefer emailing people onto their phones with popup notifications, but as we all here on bhw know, SEO and SEM is definitely long term and serious businesses always like to go with it long term and keep email marketing just for promotions. I have done a good part of the ground work for setting up a school in Malaysia where all the ASEAN people can flock in freely to take our courses. I expect a lot of filipino and Vietnamese people who would like to stop freelancing and get a job to make some real dong and pesos. I considered an online course initially, but that is never going to get people serious while learning, and the certifications won't be much valuable either, and we can't offer placement services for online participants, which I think is going to be the biggest attraction of my school. Though this is going to be a business and we are going to make money, I wish to focus on the good deed of educating people and create careers rather than make it an entirely about money for us thing. Call it the corny giving back to the planet thingy? This isn't going to be a super hyped worthless ebook selling hope that goes on sale for 2k followed by 20 minute webinars for 7 weeks. I would like the JV partner to look at it the same way. The goal is to get the Vietnamese out of the paddy fields and get them to harvest dong, and as Napoleon Hill said, the profits would follow. I got the money, I will be setting up everything, and I am looking to JV with a few SEO Expert who would prepare course material and occasionally tutor the kids over video conferencing, or fly over once in a while to do some live workshops. Malaysia has got the best steak houses in Asia and I assure you wouldn't mind the flights at all. We could franchise this out to other countries easily once the model is proven, or setup our own centres if we understand the respective markets. We can work on a percentage on revenues based on your involvement initially, and eventually if you're willing, you could buy a stake once the business starts doing well. I have made some projections on revenue and marketing strategies which I would like to discuss in private after initial talks. What I am looking for: 1. Someone with a proven SEO track record here on BHW 2. Someone who is American or European (because Asians may not prefer to be taught by high ranking fiverr experts from Bangladesh) 3. Can write course materials (include workshops which is going to be a major part of the course overseen by local 'tutors') with a lot of details based on their knowledge, enough to get people jobs and put them on track to work out the finer details of their strategies. Should be willing to constantly update the course materials as trends change. This is important as this is why I'm looking for a JV and not hiring a writer with SEO skills to make the material and use it for the next 5 years. 4. Isn't camera shy, doesn't pick his nose while idling on camera, and can run workshops and VC classes ocassionally (and preferably looks good to make Asian women go weak on their knees) 5. Lets me take care of the business front, pricing the courses and work out placements etc., and allow me to take on JVs for these aspects as well. Please PM me links that prove your SEO expertise on BHW and a brief intro before we talk on skype.
