What is Bitcoin?
http://bitcoin.org

My Journal:

From may own profile I have owned total of 4 mining rig and total graphic cards is sapphire 5850 x9 sapphire 5830 x3 total invested cost on the computer cost \$3300

Ming hash rate and profitability
My total setup hash rate are between (3000 to 3800) the average bitcoin I can get is average of 1.80 bitcoin per day
Mining monthly profitability calculation
( Bitcoin per day x 30day x 13.50 ) = total gross profit
So my current profit will be1.80 bitcoin x 30 = 54 bitcoin montly x average market price (13.50 usd)

=Total Profit \$702

Below is the screen shot of profit base on 3392.8 harsh rates and with 1.82 bitcoin.

So here's the deal:
I set up the bitcoin machine and cover up rental and electricity bill and we split the profit 50%-50% for overall profit.

Package 1 (1 BTC Machine):
Cost:\$850
Estimated BTC: 0.5 /day; per month x30 =15
Estimated Profit: 13.5(average market price) x15 = \$202.5 /month

Package 2 ( 3 BTC Machine) :
Cost:\$2550
Estimated BTC: 1.5 /day; per month x30 =45
Estimated Profit: 13.5(average market price) x45 = \$607.5 /month

Package 3 ( 5 BTC Machine) :
Cost:\$4250
Estimated BTC: 2/day; per month x30 =60
Estimated Profit: 13.5(average market price) x60 = \$810 /month

1. Yes, it might take longer but definitely will! somehow the price is around \$12-\$20 for now.
2. VPS don't work you need very strong graphic card to produce BTC.

Yes.Difficulty will increase but it will make the bitcoin price increase as well.

Isn't there a limited number of bitcoins they are giving out?

Bitcoin market might die any second.

Difficulty seems to only go up.

There is no way someone is going to make a profit with this.
With Package 3, A person invests \$4250 and gets \$410 a month back. Even if bit-coin price stays the same and the difficulty doesn't increase it will take about 10 months for the person to get the money back. Each difficulty the hash rate goes down by 50%. Bitcoins are going to die off by the end of the summer.

There's unlimited. The only thing effect is just the price and difficulty.

It's not true. Bitcoin market is just released for nearly around 1 year. From the statistic its going up. More and more offline and online shop are opened for that.

I believe a return of an investment of 10month times is reasonable. An average of coffee shop return investment is more than 3 years. I don't think it will die in this summer. Bitcoin will not die as it's control by P2P do some research and you might find this interested. Only price and difficulty effect.

I believe a return of an investment of 10month times is reasonable. An average of coffee shop return investment is more than 3 years. True. Early june is 17-20 USD but do you know that in april-may 2011 bitcoin just worth 1\$ per BTC?

Bitcoin market crashed hard when mtgox was breached or whatever, since then prices have been struggling =/

The bubble burst imo.

I would be interested, but the cost is way too high, with no guaranteed results.

Yes. Mtgox was hacked once but it's running smooth again. In fact it caused more people know more about bitcoin and price increase to 20\$ that time.

At least guaranteed result for me this few months. This is not micro niche site, you do not need to work out SEO for your site. This is something like set up and forget everything passive.
True Bitcoin is not for poor people. But yet this is good business as a 7-9 months return investment.

by the way,1 partner accepted and waiting for more.

If one would like to manage there hardware themself "ownhosted", and are you manage the admin part of mining/selling the coins? How about lowering your handeling rates then?

It works also I charge 20% for that. But make sure that you know how to set up a mining reg because it's too complicated to explain online.

Dude, you are really stupid if you think mining is, from now on, a profitable proposition. Difficulty is going up like a motherfucker, while prices are staying at their shitty levels. They're below 10\$ now.

You should JV to start a rendering company that uses the power of GPU's alot of the current companies still use cpu's. Mining rigs are perfect for doing rendering.

I would imagine that if the difficulty to obtain them went up, then they would become a scarcer commodity, thereby increasing their value?

I just learned about bitcoins after reading your post, what a brilliantly crazy idea it is. My main problem is that it all just seems to be... shady. None of the exchange sites will show prices past even a week or so and whatnot. I'm just not sure if it's steady or reliable enough to put a decent chunk of change in.

Though if it's working for you, I'm glad.
