A new bill in Congress makes posting a video containing any copyrighted work a felony-- with up to 5 years in prison.

But wait... didn't Justin Bieber get famous by posting YouTube videos of himself singing copyrighted R&B songs? Yep.
If this bill passes, he could get 5 years in jail.

LOL sorry for bursting bubble, but I don't think US constitution allows ex post facto laws :)

The picture in the OP may be the greatest pic I have ever seen. That look on his face - priceless. I'm going to show it to some teens I know to freak them out and try to get them worked up about SOPA/PIPA (which they don't really get).

Oh and the US Constitution may not allow ex post facto laws, but the Consitution and the Bill of Rights are being followed less and less every day. "Repeal the 4th Amendment Act" would have been a more accurate title than "The PATRIOT Act".

    I'm not from the US.
I'm not (directly) affected by SOPA/PIPA.
    I do protest SOPA/PIPA.
After reading this thread, now I know at least 1 good thing about SOPA. :D

Oh my god SOPA is fucked up :D Thank god i dont live in the "land of the free" and i live in a pile of snow. If SOPA passes, it cant be implemented... but hey! if it passes, it should take all of the resources from drug patrols away :) If war on drugs was a failure and we are talking about few users from bunch.... now we are talking about multipliers of 1000000x lmao... How the hell do they think that they are going to stop us (everyone) from googling weird al yankovics latest parody songs????

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qmGVYki-oyQ

I'm going at both sides at the moment, it would be good if SOPA would not get passed, but i at the same time would be interested if it would be passed.

The anarchy and anti-goverment movements would emerge from the deeps and hell would be loose in the cyber. This world needs more havoc into "modern countries" :)
