    Hello all,

I am a new user here because recently, in my spare time I have wrote a script for a unique type of Instagram bot that is quite unlike others from what I've read and the others I've seen. I have read that an Instagram account in a specific niche with lots of active followers is worth money/can be monetized. I'd like to ask how to go about that, but I don't want to put the cart ahead of the horse. Since this code is my own, I have the ability to change anything about it. I don't want to say too much about it and how it works, but generally speaking it follows/likes active users in a unique way that I have not found to be similar to other automated processes. With that said, I have it programmed to follow the cycle of a normal human i.e. it will run for 10 hours, liking and following at a rate of ~1/minute. Is this overly cautious? I've tried to find data on limits, but to no avail. My questions are:

What are the limits per hour/day for following users?
Is a significant time gap necessary to avoid ban ? ('sleep time')
What if I had it running continuously 24 hours/day but at x follow limit per day?
Is there any documentation or quantitative data on the filters Instagram uses?
What should I do with my creation?

    Thank you BHSEO

Followliker can do that. You can set a sleep time let's say 10 hours.

I didn't ask what some bot can do, I just mentioned what I'm currently doing. That isn't relevant.

I've definitely looked over this forum, but there doesn't seem to be a consensus. I've heard everything from 20 follows/hour to 160. I also can't find much about if people run their bots 24/7 or do experienced people include the sleep break...

If you decide you want people to try the software, know I'm here. :)
I'm on Instagram every day so, have that in mind.

I wouldn't be giving it away to other people because 1) It is not compiled and has no GUI 2) requires an extensive setup in linux.

there doesn't seem to be a consensus, because there's none, different things work for different accs, you won't/can't find exact numbers which can be safely applied in every case, the limits also change in time and you didn't take into account one important thing: account age, obviously aged accs have a higher tolerance

instead of being fixed on exact numbers, you should ask yourself questions like: does it look natural what am i doing? an everyday user would do that? anything beyond that - and i'm not saying it surely will but - can impose a risk
if you already read through the threads, you must know which settings don't work for sure, you can skip those and start with less possible variations, the good thing that you have a script, so you can just sit back and let it work and analyze the results

you're onto something with your questions about limits/numbers and such though
if you want to minimize the risks, you need to act like a human and if you accept that, you can answer those questions for yourself

if you're looking for exact numbers what you can input into your script and live happily ever after, i don't really see that happening

Thank you for contributing to the conversation. I was thinking about running the script with different variables at the same time and testing the thresholds i.e. accounts doing 30 follows/hr, 40, 50, 60, et cetera.

I don't know how your method works but I would try what you said above.

In my 2nd set of accounts, I'm always testing IG's limit since it changes from time to time.
