I was thinking since we want to build quality tier 1 links but also powerful links at the same time, why not build a fresh network of sites?

Basically let's say my site is in dog's niche. Rather then building PBN's I build 5 new sites on a fresh domain or a weak expired one. I set them up just like a PBN and then blast them with Decent tier 1 links and spam in tier 2.

Since I don't really care about those sites ranking and just want to transfer the power from them to the main site, wouldn't it work? I can blast them wait for a week and see if they get deindexed, if they don't I add my link to main site.

Here is how it will look:-
    Main Site <<<<<< 5 Set up sites<<<<< Tier 1 - Cheap PBN's and Quality limited GSA <<<<<< Tier 2 - Absolute SPAM.

Just wondering what your thoughts on this? What is wrong with it and what can go wrong with it?

Nothing wrong with this approach, but it's not a substitute for a PBN with strong expireds. It's just a 5 site PBN with new domains. The reason why most people are using PBNs is those strong links pointing to the expired domain you can't buy or build yourself.

If Google de-indexes your 5 new sites, it certainly won't be in a week, but even if they are online for a year or two, Google may still de-index them. It's sites existing for linking to other sites only and that's violating their guidelines, no matter if you are the first owner of the domain or the 27th.

    So: Same risks, less power.

Yea, but rather then hunting down on PBN domains... I can set it up in a week, send powerful cheap PBN blasts, sape and GSA. It will provide some juice atleast or are you saying it will not provide any advantage?

Also aren't PBN's built for the same thing too, to link out to the other sites? So it's sort of the same risk with both of them?

This has been done for a long time now. It works, the issue is all your blasted sites have a very high chance of getting penalized and potentially transfering the penalty and it's most often a matter of when, not if.
