Feeling awesome right now, or is it the joint i have just hit? doesn't matter i feel like everything is just going to play out very well for me from now on.

Got shouted at at work today for something i did not cause and was actively trying to fix, my surprising & automatic response was to tell my boss to go fuck himself and then leaving. For the better i hope, the workload was crazy and the pay is shit.. meh

You should try it sometime :anyway::anyway:

If you are good at what you you can get away with it, you probably won't be fired. And its christmas

Nothing like some good relief to start the holiday season :D

You kidding me, am partying as of right now :D

Why do people think it’s so badass that they could tell their boss to go fuck themselves when they could’ve just avoided an unnecessary confrontation and walked away from the job with their dignity?

Good luck with that reference now.

Clearly necessity haven't made you work for a shitty boss, one you wish you could punch right in the face! Good for you seriously, i envy you.

Are you on the job till now ? :-D

what do you think :D

Fuck NO.

You can tell someone to go fuck themselves and still leave with dignity.

Some people are bullies and actively try and belittle you and flex their "authority" .. those people deserve a reality check from time to time.

The best revenge is of course, not to be like them ... but sometimes they deserve a busted nose or a black eye.

I don’t want to play a game of “Who’s got it worse” but I’ve seen my fair share of shitty bosses. I just think that their attitude is their problem and not mine. I don’t believe in doing what is equivalent to a 3 year old throwing a tantrum.

You know what, i have heard that again. My verdict is that in 90% of times if the roles were changed the victim would do the same.

There are several reasons for that e.g most people lack skills to lead without being authorative and abusive.

But the main reason is that human race thrive on being respected beforehand and have power to do stuff and brag about (with money being the best power coin example)

I did something like this many years ago. My manager, a wicked lady asked me to switch my seat because I was sitting next to a girl she hated (and this girl was my best friend in the company). I told her I will shift the next day, as I was already busy doing work (which she had assigned me). She shouted at me "You need to shift RIGHT NOW". That was it. I couldn't take her insults any more. I shouted "I'm not your dog to do exactly what you ask me to. But if you treat me like a dog, I promise I will bark at you, and even bite you" - exact words. She immediately walked inside the directors cabin and informed him what I did. I was called by the management. They gave me a blank sheet of paper and asked me to write an apology letter addressed to the lady manager. I tore the paper and threw it on their face, packed my stuff and walked out" I decided not to take this corporate bullshit any more. Been unemployed / self-employed since that day :)

A lot of members here worked subpar jobs before getting into IM. Hell, my first job had me in 120°F weather, illegally altered my schedule, hardly gave me any rest between shifts, and ignored the fact I had a child under my care and threatened me with my job when I brought this up. They did more than this as well, but I didn't lash out, I just submitted a 2 weeks notice and left.

OP today: "i told my boss to GF himself"
OP in a month: "another homeless man spotted on cameras while defecating in public in San Francisco"
