Just the home page is getting ranked for all keywords, individual posts aren't.

Hi, guys. I am doing a niche event and I have very little time. I am making backlinks pointing to different posts on my site, but for every keyword I target on different posts, only the homepage is getting ranked. These posts get indexed, all right. I tried searching for them by their respective URLS.

I read somewhere that this occurs when several versions of plugins aren't compatible with the current versions of Wordpress, and accordingly I deleted the inactive plugins yesterday. Still, there is no change yet.

I tried to fetch as google the entire site, too, and have submitted sitemap. If there is no solution to this, I might get my event failed.

Has anyone faced this goddam issue? If so, how did you manage to tackle it?

Expecting a soution from some experts here!
    Thanks.

It usually happens if your posts are not quality enough in google eyes. Try writing longer posts with images and rich media and of course check competitor pages and see what they are doing and do better = success.
