Okay so I am doing niche research, and i've found 3 kw's, 1 with 9000 searches/month the other 2 with 2900 searches/month . Almost no competition, the product i am selling is getting me about 10-12$.

My question is this : Is it enough to start? are these searches enough ? Should i start building the blog or keep searching as my research isn't complete?

Hope to get it right this time

From what ive read/learned any keyword that gets 3K searches a month is worth going after if it has less than 50K google results.

Well, there are a lot of factors to consider. I personally go after:

    1. Exact match google competition of under 50k, but I know it is golden if it is under 30k
    2. Search volume preferably 5k+ (though depends on the amount of competition)
    3. Whether or not the keyword represents a word a "BUYER" would type in
    4. The top 10 or so website results that show up in a search and if they are beatable in terms of SEO.
    6. The CPC of that keyword as shown in Google Adwords and also the number of PAID adds that show up on the right hand side of the Google search results. If there are 2 or more pages of adds there then you can figure it is a keyword that is converting.
    7. Sometimes I will use Market Samuri to validate my research

Oh, and I know you only found 3 keywords, but PLEASE consider making more pages than just 3 for your site. With the new MayDay Google algorhythm changes you really need to produce more content and also a theme centered around your main keyword, not just variations of the keyword itself.

    Hope this helps!
