That all depends on what you want to code. If you're a complete newbie in programming I would recommend you start directly with C# and a book like "C# in a nutshell" or "C# Primer plus"

I would suggest to start with C and then go with C# and C++. Use google + your brain and you can learn everything. Also look for source codes on some free software to see how are they made.

Always combine both video tutorial and books! The books gives indepth view of concept
but video tutorial gives only the concept then you have to refer on your own.My opinion is
    to go for C#.

    My advise :
    dont just read books .
Make a aim in ur mind . a small aim about coding somethign (small) with that programming langugae. and try coding it taking help from youtube videos.

reading fat books on any languga wont help if u are not coding and applying those concepts at the same time
