Just started managing a small deals website that sells excess inventory. What are the best practices for maintaining long term success for this from some black hatters? I'm trying to do as much white hat stuff as possible but I mean come on...lolz. What are some more grey-hat style things I can do to get the site to rank well?

    Cheers and thanks

The best advice I could give you is for you to blow your competition out of the water by providing better product descriptions.

You see, if you're just offering pricing, chances are, that's not enough to close a deal.

When people try to make buying decisions off the pages they read online, they always look into answer key questions at the back of their mind.

The central question most people are asking is why should I buy from you.

When you provide product descriptions that are not only targeted to certain keywords but are emotionally engaging and truly hammer home benefits your particular product brings to the table, you increase the likelihood that you would close a sale.

    Always think conversions.

You are actually losing a lot of money if you are simply just going to paste up a generic product description or product descriptions that have a lot of errors.

For white hat get out in communities where your target audience hang out and engage with them - forums, facebook, linkedin etc.

For black hat, rank your site by investing in a powerful pbn and watch your entire product inventory rank as your website gains authority.
