I'm currently writing an essay regarding if " i liked the story ? " that we read in class today. This is fucking stupid. I better get laid 1000 times before i leave this campus. I think i make more money than this bitch teaching me too.

    - Rant over.

I feel the same way man :(
Sure, we are definitely fortunate to have the opportunity, but I feel it is such a waste of time.

Going to do my best to push through it just as a backup.

People won't take you seriously without a college degree, plain and simple. Yeah it may seem like a waste of time (and it probably is if you do IM), but it's absolutely necessary to get a real job. Just push through it.

Breathe it in my man. Smells like teen spirit. Don't wait til you're a senior, drop out or grad to realize how awesome your experience is. Don't sweat girls. Make friends right? Guys and girls. :D

I'm jealous. I'd love to be back at college!

As someone said, push through it. You get the odd class that's bogus; overall, though, the experience is invaluable. People give you proper respect and it does benefit your IM endeavours (logical, analytical thinking; problem-solving; a work ethic; enhanced writing ability; and so much more).

I hope you do well. :)

Work hard. Don't play video games. Don't waste time on BS.

Talk to every cute girl in your class.

Make sure you go early to class and sit next to the cute girls and just say "hey you look cool, I'm going to sit next to you"

It's important to say something right away and it's important to sit right next to her.
Sitting 2 seats away and/or saying nothing till later on or "asking for a pen" is creepy.

Make sure you have some money saved up and buy liquor and weed and then invite people to party with you.

If you have weed and liquor, bitches will be flocking and when the bitches be flocking you'll be 1. banging girls 2. Making friends 3. Having a good time

Just don't waste time on any BS and keep your grades up.
Don't drink a lot of liquor so you don't have hangovers. It wastes most of your day.

Good luck. I should be in my junior year but I dropped out cause I was fucking stupid, lazy, and I think the ADD and social awkwardness didn't help. I was outgoing but people think I'm weird if they hang out with me for a while.

Sounds more like something taken out of Hollywood. The reality is harsh... lol

Haha I'm not a normal person nor do I think I will ever be fully "normal". Growing up till the age of 18 I was always a loner because I chose to. I never really spoke to people but I would do every sport imaginable, and I did well in school.
In college, I became extremely social in a sense. It was hard to make friends after being a loner you're whole life.
But business is my interest and I have to deal with people every day and I love it. I'm getting better at it.

But anyways, the reality is not out of Hollywood, it's happening every day in college.

And yes I'm going back next year, people don't respect you as much if you didn't graduate from college. Despite some of the pointless classes you have to take it distinguishes you from high school graduates.

hahahaha this thread is freakin hilarious. College is a waste of time and money. No employer gives a crap about what degree you have or what college/university you graduated from. They can care less about that. If they get someone without a college degree but with years of experience for a position they will gladly replace your position with them. Degrees are worthless.

I'm currently attending college and graduating this year. Sitting through hours of boring ass lectures when instead I can be spending HOURS on SEO. It takes up all of your time, sucks you dry out of your money, and when you get out, in debt and no job. That's not going to be the case for me though because I didnt take out no dam loans. The cost of tuition for me is about $10,000.

Let me give you an example here:
Cousin graduated from UC Berkeley w/ BS in Nuclear Engineering. His gf graduated with a BS in accounting/ teaching. Something like that. I forgot what exactly it was. But very close.

And guess where they got a job? My cousin obtained a job at best buy for $9/hour after over a YEAR of job searching. His gf obtained a job at Nordstroms for $10/hour :) because of course females have the upper hand when it comes to anything. With their cute faces and nice booties.

Just recently though he moved to Washington and got a more formal Job over there related to his major. $20/hour.

So you come out with over $20,000 in debt. If your lucky. and then you get yourself a nice $9 an hour job upon graduation. What a great concept we have been trained to live by.

We have been trained to live like slaves. Like slaves to the system. To work until we are too old to keep working, then retire. Never finish paying the mortgage off. And die. So I say screw the system.

And finally, I suggest that if anyone is going to attend college. Obtain a certification for a career that you have done some research on and know that when you get out you will obtain a nice paying job with benefits. Instead of wasting 4 years of your life for some BS degree that is truly BS. I really feel sorry for all of the students I see wasting their money and time trying to get an A.S. lol it's very sad.

The reason I agree with this post and the one I made above is college isn't for everyone and that's cool.
It wasn't for me but I champion anyone who wants to better themselves in or out of college. Objective
success statistics between the two might not be what you'd expect. Do you, sensibly, right?

I agree that the crap they make you do in college is an absolute joke. I don't really know why people still support going to college and think that a degree will get you anywhere. It will probably be a good idea to go to college if you want to be a doctor or a lawyer or something that literally REQUIRES all that schooling junk, but for people who are into digital marketing, there's really no better place to learn it than by doing it hands-on.

    No BS homework required.

So in college "if you have weed and liquor, bitches will be flocking and when the bitches be flocking you'll be 1. banging girls 2. Making friends 3. Having a good time"? Sounds like Hollywood to me.

Get the paper in case something goes wrong in the IM world so you can easily get accepted for a 9-5 job and don't get hungry.

Then after 2-3 months invest the money from your job get back in the IM world and leave the job.

So my advice? I believe in IM and not in papers. Papers are just to impress someone (boss), use it only as an alternative if something wrong happens in the IM world.

Focus on IM more while studying too and you will succeed easier and also be prepared for any IM trouble.

I repeated myself, sorry for my English.

You obviously didn't experience the real college life.
Girls love weed. And liquor. Be normal and offer some weed and you'll get a girl to come over no matter what. If she comes over, the rest is history.
You'll make friends with some. They have friends. You go out to parties. You have a social circle. You now have friends, girls that will fuck you, so you will have a good time.

Not Hollywood, just maybe not the college you went to?
