Theres a video that i saw with 6 million views in 2 days, today (the third day) it is almost 8 million and half.
the video have 14 minutes, retention of 4 minutes, 20k likes 10k dislikes (looks like its botted, but with that retention i dont know...) The channel is small and the other videos never had that much views, around 10k lol, that just blown my brains out hahaha... I'm really curious about that. Any ideas?!

well, the keyword is kinda hot... and I dont want to give it away that easy, more competitors to false flag my stuff lol, but i can say is that it has around 1-2 million search volume per month.

I've seen that channel before, in that time (couple weeks ago) I cant remember but was definitely small, maybe 5k-15k subs, now hes hiding the subscriber numbers. I thought that maybe its just youtube promoting his video, or got a lot of videos to be related with, but 8 million views and 20k likes, 10k dislikes, i doubt it is organic views.

no those numbers seem to statical, But if he did buy 8 mil views thats a a lot of money. Likes don't come cheap either, also if you go to socialblade you can search his name and see his sub numbers and everything even if he hides it on his channel, check the graphs and trends and report back.

well i guess i was wrong about subs, it shows 0 there, so maybe he hided since he created the channel and the one i saw with 5k-15k was another one.... but the channel have 24 million views total, where 9 million came from 4 days ago, 11 million from 3 days ago and 4 million from 2 days ago, and yesterday it sundenly stoped completely. the channel have videos uploaded between 3 months ago and now, (a couple from 3 years ago) and all these views came only from videos of this week tops. If he bought it, hell that was a huge amount of money, but i think it's unlikely, and if he botted, I dont know how he got 4 min rentention. Maybe it was a huge sharing strategy all over facebook groups or google plus communities, and thats where these views came, and how its embbed outside youtube, explains the lack of engagement (likes, dislikes), the video is targeted for a specific country and it has comments in many languages like russian, spanish, english etc... but still, 24 million views? 1/3 of it only for one video, and the rest for 3 or 4 videos, in 4 days, only for videos from this week, with sharing? thats crazy ... i say that because the videos have a horrible and old, repetitive content, no chance to be viral.

    Update
today social blade has shown "-4 million views" in red, and sorry for my bad english haha

Maybe he is building a bot of his own and is planning to start selling views, likes and so on and is testing it on his own video to see if its safe and what the effect will be on his earnings. Or he just struck a traffic source goldmine somewhere and is exploited it until it got closed. There are many legit and non-legit ways this might have happened, so it's all just guesswork.

it's hard to tell without checking the actual video, but you can see if it's trending and if it does where it's trending, this will shed some light on the traffic sources...

Honestly - isn't YouTube REALLY good with spotting bots and such now?

Especially when it comes to the amount of revenue they've been pouring into independent YT channels..
