    Hi guys,

This is the first time this happens to me. I just receive an abuse report from my host server. They asked me to address it.

From their email: "Per our policies, we require that all our clients respond to abuse notices as they come in. Failure to do so within a timely manner (within 24 hours) will result in a suspension of services until the server administrator has time to resolve the issue."

How to deal with that. I have no experience in this field.

    Thanks in advance.

Reply to them and tell them you don't have any idea about what is going on and be polite. Its stated that if you don't respond in 24hours your services will be suspended I guess you wouldn't like that to happen huh

I had a complaint once, and i just told the hosting company that i bought what i thought was a double opt-in list, and it would't happen again. They were fine :)

It is not about an email list. It is about automatic registration on a "honeypot
    > Wiki/Forum/Blog-System....". I even don't know what is this. I used Magic submitter yesterday on their server and i have this email today.

What can I say to them? I have MS on the server and use it a lot.

Tell them it was probably a competitor. Say you've been getting threats from competitors and they're probably trying to sabotage you.

Remove that software and do not run it on that server again. First off, get a backup quick.
