    hey guys,

setting up a new company based website and just brought the .com and .co.uk emd.

im trying to rank in the uk, but am not adverse to getting overseas traffic.

the best thing i can think of is set up the site on the .co.uk and 301 the .com to it. does this sound about right?

if i do this can i try to rank the .com for international keywords without it affecting the .co.uk rankings?

    Thanks

My advice is to work with the .com and add the site to webmaster tools, setting your target to UK. Your results will be no less on google.co.uk because your are a .com (as apposed to a .co.uk).

If you want to target both US and UK markkets install a GEOIP script, so that you can feed different content to the USA viewers, than UK ones. Display prices in $ for example rather than £

As for your .co.uk domain.... 301 it to the .com
